Last Year Was Rough...

Besides designing a new theme, and then cleaning it up, I have implemented a new store using Ubercart. Overall, pretty nice.

You don't need an account to buy stuff, but it does allow you to keep your cart active for 2 years.

 Click "Utility Programs" on the Main Menu.

So far, I have a simple Dice Roller and RPN Dice Calculator.

 So there are certain things you don't need ten of, and certain things that potentially have too low a sales volume for me to foot the bill and get a mold made of...

So I opened a store on Shapeways.com, in which I will sell things that I think you may like, but which I don't think will sell enough of for me to make molds and cast in metal.

 My "Day Job" has me super-busy right now. Things should settle down at EOM, and I should be able to get the store back up and running, hopefully starting this weekend.

Also, I have been working on some "Utilities" for your enjoyment. These are written in JavaFX, and using Java 1.6, you can drag them out of the browser and on to the desktop. One is a simple dice roller, the other a RPN style ( Think HP Calculator ) dice calculator. They both use a cryptographically secure random number generator.

Lot of great new features to make my life easier! Hopefully I will get a upgrade email soon so I can download it and start playing.

Sorry for the delay on reopening the store; but I've been super busy at work, plus I've been tweaking the shopping cart to match our new theme. Hopefully this weekend I will be able to get it back up and running.

 So hopefully today, we will get the online store back up, and try out some other things as well.

One nice thing about the new site is the improved forum and text input handling. It uses FCKEdit, and registered users get their own online storage for pictures to use in forum/comment posts. 

 Also video/object embedding works for authenticated users.

Sorry for the dust, but we're working on our new website! New theme, new designs ( no, really! ), and better organization. So hold on, everything should be ready within the next few days.
